Greece’s alternative tourism is being promoted in the Netherlands. On April 16, 2019, The Hague hosts for the first time the alternative tourism of Greece, at the 1st Greek Alternative Tourism Workshop Hague 2019 in the emblematic space of Madurodam.
Greek entrepreneurs in the tourism market are joining forces with public bodies.
The goal is to effectively promote Greece as an ideal tourist destination all year round to professionals in the Dutch tourism market from Hague, Amsterdam and Rotterdam.
The promotion of the enriched tourist product of our country will take place through B2B meetings with specialised travel agents and tour operators from the Netherlands who represent an audience that wishes to travel all year round.

2018: record decade of arrivals from the Netherlands to Greece (924,434 visitors, an increase of 18.9% compared to 2017).

The 1st Greek Alternative Tourism 2019 is organized in The Hague in the Netherlands by AVIAREPS in collaboration with Tourism Media & Events, with the support of EOT, under the auspices of the Ministry of Tourism and the Hellenic-Dutch Business Association (HEDA).
It is addressed to Tourism Enterprises and Public Bodies that are interested in promoting their services and products around alternative tourism in the Dutch market.
